Coming up from behind: Uncharted 2 demo 'getting closer' Update
Moving among thieves will definitely have stuff catch you unawares. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is progressing pretty well. So well in fact that, if Naughty Dog co-founder Evan Wells' Twitter account is any indication, we just might get a demo of the game very very soon.
Just a couple hours ago, Wells updated his Twitter account with the following:
The demo's getting closer... [...] So close now... I think we might actually have a pretty sane weekend (knock on wood!)
Looks like they've been using the past couple days/weeks prepping this demo of sorts, because if you flash back to a couple days ago, Wells also mentioned that "The most important deadline so far on Uncharted 2 is right around the corner!"
Could it be an announcement of a demo? And when he says demo, does that necessarily translate to a PSN demo... or perhaps, something more realistic, a playable demo they intend to bring to E3? Maybe it's just a demo playtest theyr'e prepping for the media?
Anyway, the least we can expect is that Nuaghty Dog is clearly cooking up something pretty big. I'm guessing that whatever it is, we're definitely going to hear about it next week.

Update Apparently, with so many sites reporting about this bit of news, it eventually landed on Evan Wells' ears. Though he may be on weekend mode, he still took time to go update his Twitter and clarify the whole "demo" thing:
Clarifying a previous post... we're working on stabilizing a build for an upcoming "demo"nstration of Uncharted 2. NOT a PSN demo! Sorry!
Told you so. It's either their E3 demo or something to be shown to the media soon.
