If you wanna be the star of the party, then you gotta pony up some hard cash. That seems to be the message Activision is sending their European patrons awaiting the new DJ Hero (PS3, Xbox 360). UK retailer ShopTo has divulged to Eurogamer that the price point at which the game will release is at a cold GB 107.99 (US 177.70).
The retailers seem to taking action themselves, however, as ShopTo has cut the price to GB 94.85 (about US 156). Cheaper, but still steeper compared to the Guitar Hero peripheral bundle at GB 70 at launch.
Apart from ShopTo, HMV also disagrees with Activision's price point and so is "going with its own price on this," choosing to peg the tag at GB 99.99. In the US, DJ Hero wis offered for US 120, or GB 70.
