With titles like God Eater, Persona, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days all queued up in the fall 2009 release margin, Capcom found that the period is already too crowded for another release, so they're delaying the release of Dark Void (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) to their fiscal Q4, which in calendar terms is the first quarter of 2010, which ends in March of that year.
Okay, so there are quite a number of fall 2009 releases out there, but then again, there are more titles coming early 2010 that would crowd Dark Void more than the fall 2009 batch. For starters, Ubisoft already announced the delay of four titles into early 2010. There's also the matter of the possibility of running into God of War III, MAG, White Knight Chronicles, Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360, PC) - the list can go on.
Out of the frying pan, into the fire. Unless of course, Capcom knows something we don't.
