You would have to leave your PSP for a month or so.
then when the wallpaper changes try it then.
Or you could try starting a UMD in the PSP and press home.
Or if you have a UMD that need's you to update you could do so and restore the image.
Sorry but that's all i can think off.
try taking out the battery and put it back in. it usually works for most ppl so i suggest tryin it out
i dont like those programs but it makes my psp look so cool!!! so i do use them
and yea everytime i had a problem i just took out the battery and it worked again
did you try... uhh... i dunno... CHARGING IT?
do what the 2 people ontop of me do ^
agreed. it will be the end of us both. :shifty:Originally Posted by Paulk501

What? Running at 333 GHz screws up the PSP? Well that ruined my plans for a portable supercomputer...Originally Posted by Unregistered
On a more serious note, try removing the battery or charging. If PSP Personalize screwed up, though, you may have a brick.
i think ure wrong the psp doesnt goes at 333ghz it goes at 333mhz and runing emulators at 333mhz DOESNT DAMAGE YOUR PSP
I was being sarcastic. I know 333mhz doesn't cause damage.Originally Posted by elokito
I was playing a game with my PSP 1.50 and shut it down fully (power switch for a few seconds). There was plenty of juice in it.
Now it simply won't switch on. If I plug in the charger it will show the charging light for a while and then go out (which I assume means the battery is full - will test the battery with a voltmeter later).
If I press the power button with the battery in - nothing
If I press the power button with the battery out, but mains connected it shows a green light after about 3 or 4 repetative presses, but nothing then happens.
I have tried with all combinations of battery in/out, power in/out, wireless switch on/off, UMD in/out, memstick in/out. Always the same result, nothing.
I have not installed/changed any backgrounds, system stuff etc, I do not overclock it and was simply simply playing normally when I last switched it off.
IS there anything I can do to try and reset it (is there a reset button combination like on other electrical devices?)
Any help appreciated, I bought this as a HK import, so I really don't want to have to send it back.....
PS - Sarcasm helps nobody, so if you haven't got anything useful to say, please don't bother replying - I say this as I have had to look through endless posts looking for someone else with this problem and I am amazed at the number of pointless 'witty' remarks I have had to plough through **** in help me

wow, sorry to tell you but that is exactly the same way a brick acts. No really though, i think thats its just bricked cause if you tried EVERYTHING possible then it must be bricked. Sorry

Buy a new PSP motherboard if you have no warantee.
I'll buy your PSBrick from you ;)
PS, my psp has decided to start working again, but only with mains connected, it will NOT charge the battery. I have ordered an external battery pack/ps2 controller style grippy thing which should get around the problem as it charges on its own, and then plugs into the external power jack of the PSP. It is also supposed to give you 10hrs play life. We will see......
