Jim Steuert has emailed us a new version of PSPVI, version 0.2 (based on Tim Underwood's open source irda test program and much experimentation). This is a text editor (vi), command line/file environment, C compiler and assembler development environment which uses input from the Targus Universal Wireless Keyboard (which he says he recently saw at CompUSA for $59.95.)
Changes in this version include:
- Fixed nasty bug in vi not writing entire file if not positioned at beginning of file.
- Also fixed another bug when inserting at end of page.
- Added g (goto beginning of file) and G (goto end of file) commands.
The simple command line environment has a current directory commands, and file/navigation commands:
The development environment includes the cc and asm commands:
>cc <file>.c - if successful, generates a <file>.asm assembler file.
>asm <file> lst - test-assembles the <file>.asm file.
>asm <file> run - assembles and runs the asm file.
>run - runs the last-assembled file
The simple vi text editor has the following commands:
movement commands: 0,$,ctrl-d, ctrl-u, h,j,k.l
G - goto end of file g-go to beginning of file
search commands: /<string>, n, N
edit commands: x, r, dd, p, P, i..esc, o...esc, O...esc
You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].
