Placasoft of Team Emergency Exit (psp-arena.de) has emailed us a program called PSPSet, version 0.1. With this program you can change the gameboot on your PSP (the short video clip that plays when loading a homebrew for example.) Like PSPersonalize, this program will flash this file onto your PSP so use it at your own risk. Team Emergency Exit takes no responsibility for any damage resulting in the use of this file.
To install, put a gameboot.pmf file onto your memory stick at ms0:/gameboot.pmf (or x:/gameboot.pmf). Attention, the Gameboot.pmf file should not be larger then 1MB, do not run this program unless you know what you’re doing and have that file located there.
He also lets us know that a future version is in the works that will allow you to change the backgrounds, change the version from 1.0–2.0 (just version number, not actual firmware), and be able to swap the X and O buttons.
Remember, use this file at your own risk because it is writing to your flash and could possibly brick (make it worth its weight) your PSP.
