Im proving a point. You want us to follow the qj policies, so I am following the policies. I am not posting dumps or how to get them. I am also not posting iso loaders and how to use them and then saying isos are bad and not allowed, and we cant help with that. I do stick to the policies though. If someone asks for a dump or iso help, I simply say that isnt allowed here.
No need to be condescending, sir. Despite the fact that he would indeed have received a faster response, the issue would not have been raised out in the open where the majority of your users could discuss it, and they would have remained blissfully unaware of goings-on which chouldn't be taking place regardless.Zitat:

You're deluded. QJ's anti-piracy policy is good and all, but why censor the names of rival sites under the flimsy pretext that they're bad due to the fact that they help with the loading of backup games? QJ simply doesn't want its userbase reduced.Zitat:

The banning of other websites/URL's is a "final straw" action and only arises in the 2 following situations:
1. The URL is being spammed repeatedly for no reason
2. The site is frequently being posted in referrence to obtaining ISO's, Porn, or copyrighted material.
Sites are NOT censored because they are rival sites. If the site is censored, its for a good reason. Granted, the reason for the censor may've happened 6 months ago.
Well, whatever, to avoid being banned, or losing my VIP status, I will indeed just accept what has been said.
Making homebrew is not illegal nor is running an unsigned eboot or telling people how to decrypt a file.Zitat:

If you paid attention to why I wrote that comment, you would have caught that it was a reply to TO saying that we shouldn't host Devhook here. (A homebrew application.)Zitat:
Zitat von Ralan
Well it clearly promotes iso use. It is a firmware emulator and an iso loader. You tell people how to setit up how to get a dump and all that. Oh well...
They just pretend not to notice just because it can emulate higher firmwares...Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
just bypass the censor when you link. That's what I would do, put spaces in the blank.com part.
I really don't understand why you guys can't understand the piracy policy here. Read the thread linked in my signature three or four times for clarification.
Edit - Stop trolling Ralan.
It has nothing to do with piracy!
Funny it says the iso loaders wont be hosted and links wont be allowed. Last time I checked DH is an iso loader.
Censor bypassing is bannable, I believe.Zitat:
Zitat von soccerPMN
Then what are you complaining about? What has nothing to do with piracy?Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
Read my edit.
A troll is one who tries to provoke a flame war, I am supporting TO because he is right about this matter.Zitat:

It is, also do not tell people how to do it
edit.
Last time I checked, it's also a firmware emulation tool, and a tool used to run your UMDs that require a higher firmware.Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
It still does load ISOs making it an iso loader. The policy doesnt say iso loaders are allowed as long as they do something else.Zitat:
Zitat von TheMarioKarters
And it also is a firmware emulator and a tool that is used to run UMD's that require higher firmware. This site reports news on all things to do with the PSP, which includes applications. This is a hybrid application that has numerous uses, one of them is yes, an ISO loader.Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
The source code was released, but your efforts into removing the ISO loading components and release your own application.
Why did everyone decide to get on their soapboxes today? There are much more turbulent and troublesome things happening in the world today and there may be a war breaking out any minute.
What country is threatening war? N. Korea??
Pull up any news site like CNN or MSNBC and you will have plenty to read up on.Zitat:

Not really caring. Does Kim Jong Il actually look intimidating..?Zitat:

Plus, all they're doing is blowing up...THE OCEANS! Oh noes.

Isreal and Lebanon.
Abe read my post before yours.
I thought he was serious, like there were high tensions somewhere...
TMK: ...? They have nuclear weapons, and they said they'd use violence to keep them if necessary. Are you apathetic/gothic/too cool to care?
Last time I checked, we have nuclear weapons too, as do our allies.Zitat:
Zitat von soccerPMN
There working on nucular weapons, If they get too close we can show them what nukes really look like.Zitat:
Zitat von soccerPMN
Last time I checked, if a nuclear war began it would basically be the end for the majority of the planet. Last time I checked of course. Who knows, maybe we can dismantle nuclear weapons in the air now :rolleyes:Zitat:
Zitat von TheMarioKarters
It's very serious and people are already dying.Zitat:

@TO - I did read your post, and in all honesty I'm done talking in circles with you. Like I originally suggested, if you HAVE AN ISSUE WITH SITE POLICY, BRING IT BACKSTAGE FOR DISCUSSION WITH STAFF AND POSSIBLE AMMENDMENTS.
Comprende?
Why do you keep saying talk backstage. All members of these forums should be allowed to share your opinions.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
We should atleast have a say in whats going on other than new features or logos, We should have a say on the importiant hot button issues.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
This thread has practically burned out. IMO its now a freezing-cold-button issue.
Well we did have the program starwars (not the movie), that shot down missles (not nuclear) in midair during the 1970's (I think 1972). Maybe the gov't has secretly been improving that for nuclear warfare? Doubt it though, considering Bush is our president.Zitat:
Zitat von soccerPMN
was there just some major haxing?
Dude, be lucky that you have a place to talk to admins/mods in private..Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
Because in my opinion, that's where it belongs. If it's worth getting public comments and there is a need for it, then we should do so.Zitat:
Zitat von TeamOverload
If it's something that can get implemented or changed/amended to the site policy, it's best to get a consensus from the staff to see if everyone is in agreement. After all, if are to enforce a policy, you have to be in full agreement and it has to be necessary.
Am I making any sense at all to anyone besides myself? Please confirm for my sanity.
You're making perfect sense, TO's all over the place though.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
No I strongly disagree, We should get a voice in a matter that affects us.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
We should be able to give out opinion in matters other than new features.
