Post Counts cause way too many issues, just because someone has a low count doesn't mean they are knowledgeable, just because someone has 10k posts(TMK) doesn't mean he is better than everyone...I say get rid of them, what do they contribute? E-Peen wars?
They are completely worthless.
i like them, and i believe others do too. sure, a low post count doesn't mean some one is stupid; it is just more like that they are, or are at least unknowegeable.Zitat:

I've been trying to think of ways to optimize efficency while maintaining a minimalistic design, I do not want too many forums and sub-forums, makes it a mess I believe. If VB was more flexible and actually had mods/add-ons geared towards this where devs would have an option to have their thread appear on a "release" page and not put any more stress on the server, then I might go ahead, but I haven't found anything like thatZitat:

Yea well... issue is, the stuff under the avatar looked odd when it was centered.. =/ Since some people had more stuff there then others, and it just looked odd.

Look, Give it a couple days, Ill collect feedback and go from there. Everyone keeps pulling me one way or another. "Center it!, No Right! No put it like it orig was" Its like ARG. So just give it a couple days. Im working on things best I can and monitor what you all would like. If that all fails and no one ever is happy, Ill just say hell with it, Pop in 3.6.x and start fresh. ;)

How hard would it be to update this forums to the 3.6.x? Would everything be wiped and how long would it take?
To be honest? Yes about everything would be wiped. It would be like 3.0 to 3.5 which was a major overhaul too. If we were a stock forum... would be easy, but we have alot more unique aspects here then alot of forums... not to mention that certain areas here tie into the front pages too.Zitat:
