The guest count has gone down allot 1500+- to 250 +-
Did you change how long ago a user or guest had to be on to be reported on the currently active list? Or since you disabled the guest count in forum, it wont report to main forum guest count.
I'm seeing a very good speed increase

Displaying info, member count etc. Now lets say you have 1000 users just on the front page... in part they are also putting a load on the forum as it had to call its data to display to them as well. Before the slowdowns were unbearable that I avoided the fourms for a while.

Im just relieved.. I spent a good part of the night working this, reading up on things and disabling VB set options that really have no point.. least here that is. Nothing anyone would miss.

Hey, I patched it abit more. You can now get a PM from donate again. However the "reason" field is gone for now. But the PM will least say the amount someone gave you. Hope this helps.

This is a huge improvement. And I've also sorted the slowness I get from being at work. I worked out that my browser was going through the US proxy and not the UK so now I am getting much better speeds.
The donate PM just worked for me. I had an opportunity to test it.

Ah... Basic Dark and the other one had few changes and wasnt fully part of the standard styles. I didnt edit those.. sorry, Ill see what I can do to fix that one.

No thatd be kid of bad. Because what if you sign up but have to move somewhere and dont have internet for awhile. Your screwed and then might get banned for having dupe accounts.
