I have nearly 6 million points as a non premium, and I cannot do anything with them. If anything, either give non premiums more things to do with points, or just not allow us to have points at all.
Edit: If you go with the first option, I suggest that non premiums be allowed to donate points! :D
I think there should be a interest reduction based on the amount of points you have. Up to One mill can get the full 3% interest, then 10 mill 2%, 20 1%, and so on and so on.
This way it can be fair to people like the Spiral who got their points by actually offering something, and fair to people who like me got points for helping people and stuff.
I say the people that want the points reset, should have their (and only their) points removed. if you want to be broke, be broke by yourself.

This is not to fix the problem we are currently in, that is impossible to some degree. And Aduvio that option is impossible to do with VBplaza. And as i said so many times before they can be compensated for the points they lost with respect with the new economic system assuming that admins are willing to compensate them. and dont think it is only unfair to you, i too earned my points but i see the bigger issue at hand and i know i can earn my points back again.
Steven this is a problem, we all know it, maybe reseting the points will give some part of QJ back that was lost in the corruption in the past year. I must admit Qj was allot more appealing back when than it is now. Points could help bring a little of it back...

I did but I dont think its a problem really. Its not affecting you at all or a majority of qj. It doesnt take away from the points value by having so many people with a alot of points but that doesnt really affect anything cept maybe the 300k clubsZitat:

Think about it DMX, with the point margins being so high the poor members can never catch up. Points are meaningless now, since you can't have anyone do anything since they don't need them. It's inflation, except the goods aren't ovepriced.
It effects Non premo:
Because everyone gives away points and points are in such high consumtion in order to buy premo with points that thesprial has offered it leaves non premo with no way to get those points. Which lead to major begging wich effect richer people like me to listen to their begs and try to kindly tell them no.

It effects premo cause now trying to get a sig made for them is ridiulously high. lets just say they spent 16 million on a year of premo and now they need another 5 mill to hold a low prize sig contest. Now one of the main features of premo, getting a sig, wont even happen.
300K:
This was once an elite club with the best of the best users to hang out. Now everyone can get into when with a simple asking of points. And it is so freely given away that elite is more like random people that join yesterday...
Mods/Admins:
Im sure they have gotten more than enough problems doing with points. Making sure that no point swap problems are happening and if they are trying to fix them. Making everyone happy, ect..... bleh they can better tell you their point problems than me...
It's hard to police people like that, it's a tough situation, the resolution will be complex, and VBplaza has alot more stuff than we can buy now, (i use VB all the time and own a license), i think some new stuff should come to the store, however mysticales is trying to keep the forums running smoothly, which very frankly is more important.Zitat:

lol, when i first obtained 4mil, i thought i was jesus, at that time it was a good amount of points, the richest user only had like 30 mil maybe less, i gave away atleast 200k per day for a week or more when i had those points and it was for stupid things like to see who could figure out which character i used to make "*" and how to do it and stuff. i was even on the top 10 richest users (sure i was 10 but still) and then poeple started giving away random huge amounts of points, macca was sharing his points with people which at the time was 30+mil and gaining tons of intrest and everyone startied point swapping galore, slowly i was falling out of being considered "rich" i took a break from qj for a couple months and i cam eback and my intrest had only risen to about 15mil and i looked in the top 10, and #10 had like 100mil, all from mods giving out random free points (like the sig contest firetruck was talking about before) then randomly TMK came back and he was the richest user the day he came back...now points dont mean anything, i only have 25mil now which is pretty much, ****, but normally this woulda been really good, i think the point system and intrest and point swapping has gotten out of hand and now points mean next to nothing

btw, i dont mean to sound like im pinning the blame on macca for dosing out his points to gain major amounts of intrest, its EVERYONE who went out and did point swapping, they would be making mils a day just cause they were egtting 2 intrests, even more sometimes and it was ridiculous. i rember giving out like 500k one time, then waiting a week just to make it back then giving another 400k out the day i had it back -.-
also as mentioned on the last page, it makes it so much harder for people to get things done. non prems cant buy prem anymore because a measly 2 mil for a month of prem means nothing to people with billions of points now, and now prems can buy anything in the stores so easily cause 50k is nothing to them, and now 300k is **** when people are making 30mil+ a day with intrest, its so easy for people to buy things that people once ahd to work so hard for to get like the 300k club.
yeah, but we want to upset the least amount of people possible, and so far the current suggestions either A. Wont help fully(the percentage decrease), so if i have 100 million, 10% decrease i still have a ton of points. or B. Anger too many people (resetting all points)

you coudl do something like take from the rich, give to the poor, or go along the lines of decreasing everyones points by a certain % and the people with the highest amount of points lose alot more % then the people who dont have billions of points
not upseting alot of people is impossible. But you have to think of the people as a whole. What will be better for the community? letting the whole forum reach bilions of points or reseting it and laying down strong base set rules?
The flaw QJ made was not following through their point rules. When this was a little problem QJ set down the no begging rule. Sure they said it, but 1 week passed by and everyone was begging again.
We can fix the mistake that we made half way in the game by restarting with a new goal, a new set of rules and a new plan. Im sure many will get upset, no im positive. But they have so many times before, the closing of the MD party room, talking away of change others user title, sticky thread, chane others avy, ect... they have gotten mad, but they have gotten over it and in the end it was better for QJ
thats not always fair, because thats almost like grouping all rich people and saying "you are rich and didnt earn all the points", i never took place in the point swapping and i have 51 million points, over interest and high post count
anyway, i like the idea of non-premiums not being able to donate, or accept donations from premiums, so then they cant just dish out points they begged for.

I have to say when I first started here I was all in to the forums, but I didnt become premium until I found out about points. I thought one day I will have a million points (that took forever) then 300K club came out and I was excited and saved up for that (this was prior to getting the million)
Now I have over 30 million and no 300k (still saving and gaining interest Maybe I should just pick one already.)
Now that I have this many points (And Yes I Did Earn Them) If you take mine away I will lose interest in this forum and will not renew the following month of premium so dont take my points.
^^ thats another thing, now all these people are interested in in the forums are points. i could have given a rats ass about points when i first came here all they are good for is to seperate people even more and cause more conflicts and "segregation". ppl come here now to try and be the richest point user on QJ
You have to think about QJ as a whole. Really, I think points should be reset, but users should be compensated. As for the values, I have no clue.
and of course points really dont matter in the scheme of things, the amount of good posts matters most.....
I'm still surprised we dont have a reputation system, its pretty easy to implement
The reason it probably hasn't been implemented yet is that some users might lie.

A good idea would be to use a Rep system instead of points, so that if you post well you get +rep, but not just anyone can vote, only premiums, and with the more rep you have, the more voting power you get on other peoples rep. And you spend rep like points, so it costs 50 rep to change username (thats like 50 good posts, minus any bad ones you had)
