Actually, thats the most logical explanation ive heard!

He probably gets tons of people that click on the link, and then picks the targets.
Just don't click on links, and you'll be fine.

None need it really. It just sometimes helps it load faster.

And also can qj trace back the hacked accounts to a IP and trace it back to the actuall user?

They can trace the IP.

I got an idea, allow links, but all links would have to be approved by an admin/mod before they show up on the forum... Or Block all links except for trusted ones by checking against a whitelist

you have got to be an idiot....

1) there is no function to approve the posting of urls
2) the thought of mods checking every url posted is mind boggling
3)links can easily be changed to send you somewhere else or to do somthing else
And how would you decide what is trustworthy and what is not? sites can be trustworthy but the user who uses them could be untrustworthy...
