They thought about it once and it ended again.
But Myst is in a good mood today, so who knows?
I would like to see it back, And if users start to misbehave, Ban them from the thread.

If TMM has changed, he's changed. If not well then they can always ban him again... after he's patched a few exploits of course ;). I think that people need to calm down a little, if you are not part of he staff you can just sit back and relax, TMM isn't your problem and besides he might have acually changed.

When TMM moved the MD Party Room to the Wii section all the posts in it counted so, they moved ti back but the posts dont change.

It's quite obvious that fear was the reason for the unbanning. You can't say otherwise because you are clearly implying and indirectly saying it. If you fear something so small as an XSS hack, then I wonder what you'd do if someone threatened to hold QJ hostage (i.e. threaten to DDoS QJ if their demands were not met).
I've been an Administrator on countless communities (some larger than QJ) and I've had to deal with trolls that have done far worse than "Eternal-Cowboy". I have NEVER and NEVER will succumb to any threats of idiocy from any of them.Zitat:

Moral of this story? The majority of "hackers" are merely script kiddies. The fact you've failed to heed my warnings (through a number of staff here) to remove the version number at the bottom of the forums or to update vBulletin is the key cause for these problems. Script kiddies merely take known vulnerabilities and use them. They usually (99% of the time) have no knowledge of security, what-so-ever. The majority of the security holes present in these forums can be solved by updating vBulletin. I am not the first person to say this and I will not be the last. But I do know nothing will come of this.
Can that be said for QJ? No. But by succumbing to the threat of a hacker, you've just declared QJ an open-house. You should hope that this site does not get listed on "hack radar sites" (I will not name them) as they would have a field day.
The site http://www.qj.net itself is subjective to XSS and these forums still are. Suffice to say, XSS vulnerabilities are the LEAST of your worries.
You're really sending out the best of messages to this community. From how I see it, and I am sure other people agree, the message is thus: "You can contact the staff all you want, but nothing will be done. Only after you've hacked the forums, the existence of a security hole becomes reality."
A second message you've sent, is the following: "Hack the forums, help us fix them and we give you immunity."
Neither message is pleasant. And neither message should EVER be sent by an Admin. You've just made QJ one of the most vulnerable sites on the internet.
You know what you've just made "Eternal-Cowboy"? A GOD (on these forums at least).
Nice work Mysticales. You've taken the easy way out. I can also guarantee that your actions have now caused those that are capable of helping you secure QJ to not want to help.
You've basically given free reign to every troll out there.
In my opinion, you've failed your first real test as an Administrator and you are not fit to be an Administrator of this community. Compare yourself to the President and the trolls to terrorists. The day the President negotiates with terrorists is the end of Freedom itself.
You've just demolished all sense of freedom and justice within QJ.
And you can't tell me you weren't expecting backlash from the community when making such a unjust decision.
Note: This entire post is my opinion. This is not a flame. This is how I see QJ at this very moment in time (the time this post was written).
I totally agree with EvilSeph, TheMilkMan shoud get reported for trying to hack the forums but he gets unbanned. That is COMPLETE Bull****, I get a 2 week ban for saying "idiot", he should of NEVER got unbanned. For one reason, trying to hack into other accounts. That is AGAINST the law. Myst, you have made the WORST action. This is the first I have even seen this, TMM get to **** you little idiot, I don't wait to see welcome back, he does not deserve it. I would prefer EvilSeph to be an admin instead of Myst.
