Just beat it. I have to say this is my favorite game of all time. Kojima did an amazing job with the story. I found that this was the first game that i had ever really enjoyed and payed full attention to the story. Bravo Hideo.

He does it as a joke, not to get rise. his sole purpose of doing these is to get a laugh out of people, and many people find him funny(again not me, but I can see where people would)

Honestly though, its a freaking review of a video game. It has zero impact on anything so why the hell do you get so worked up? It has no influence of any buyers, it has no influence on your enjoyment of the game, so why do you get mad? Its comical how pathetic people like you are over one man talking about a video game. Like I said above, its a GAME and a REVIEW. If you get upset of that and think its retarded then you really will hate working and life in general.

It's not the Mona Lisa, it's not the Sistine Chapel. It's a [albeit very good] video game.

It was my favorite game of all time, but you don't see me going crazy over anyone who dare defy its greatness or anything stupid like that. If everybody would just calm down, and have a civil discussion or debate instead of mindlessly worshipping Hideo Kojima, then maybe we could get somewhere. But alas, such is life.

anyone have any idea when the MGS Database for Europe will be made available???

I searched around and all i found was 26th June 2008 ie: Today, however still nothing is made available....or it could be i just don't know where too look even thought i scanned the whole PSN Store about 5 times over.

I am an avid MGS fan, having played every previous game many times over, and almost completely agree with him. MGS4 is full of cut scenes and its all confusing and ridiculous and long, but thats what makes MGS MGS. That doesnt mean I dont think its still the best game out for either 360 or ps3 now though.

This game really isn't for people who have not played the previous games. MGS4 is really a love it or hate it game, and Yahtzee obviously just didnt like kojima's style.

i already beat this game twice in snake normal or naked normal or something like that its second to last and i also beat it in big boss extreme this game is fun playing it multiple times :humped::humped::humped: i'm playing it again in big boss extreme and im already about to finish it also lol this is the best MGS game i ever played i still wanna play it i tried online once but i played story mode more :D :tup:

Yeah if you start a new game by loading from the savedata, weapons/items also come back after you meet the MK II.

Just got the game yesterday, I didn't know what I was missing out on until i played it! Just near the end of Act 1.

Online is Meh, but game is awesome!

btw, that battle was epic, EPIC

You can't take a joke can you? Have you ever listened to ANY of his reviews? He says all of them are ****. And that's how he does his 'reviews' (if you can even call them that, there more like jokes), he nit-picks at every part of the game. That seems to be a growing style in video reviews (ever watched AVGN?)

Just finished Act 3 in Europe.

The battle between Raiden and Vamp was crazy, I can't wait to see the other fights.

Though what I found weird was:

after they stab each other, Raiden was able to jump up to the helicopter with no pain, but then when he gets on the copter, he started acting hurt.

its impossible to beat raging raven, without using lethal weapons. That fight was not hard but it was just really annoying not like the Octopus fight where you find her then shoot. My Solid Eye NV lost battery, so I ended up using my threat ring.
