@ Nero: Haven't tried it yet. But I know it'll be fun. I'm kinda lazy to go through it a fifth time though.
I've finally played a bit of this.
The controls suck. Badly. I want it simple like MGS2 and MGS3. R1 to aim and square to shoot. WTF is L1+Triangle to get a decent aim and then R1 to shoot on top of that! I guess if I actually owned a PS3 and MGS4 I would get used to the controls?
MGS4 is not ment to be a everyone type of game...you love it or you hate it... My Consin for instents owns a ps3 and a 360 and doesnt use his ps3 much for anything other than bluray...
But if you played 2 or 3 you should like 4...

The controls were pretty easy for me. But confusing at first after playing MGS3.
Surprising. I thought the controls were one of the best advancements the game made. I mean, it had 3 different ways you could shoot. No other game offers that, that's why it was difficult to reach the one you want. MGS4 isnt supposed to be played in First Person, that mode is supposed to be used in single bullet headshots.Zitat:

I personally HATE Metal Gear Online. I know, maybe I'm not used to the whole "stealth" game, but doesn't anyone else think that there is no real point in this game? I don't know, maybe that's my opinion.
Anyone else still playing the game (MGS4 not MGO)? After beating it 3 times three different difficulties, I just don't want to go through it again.
I just finished the game my first time. I loved the little pro-ps3 quirks they through in there. "Time for a disc change snake... o wait this is a blue-ray..." and when pycho mantis appeared, etc.
The reason MGS4 is so good, is because the Enemy AI caters to the stealth action. So they wont run around like crazy, giving you more time to hide etc.Zitat:

But it's true what you say, the stealth mode is much better.
Yesterday I decided I didn't want a PS3 or MGS4 so today I watched through the Big Boss emblem play through on Youtube. But after watching it I want the game even than before more now.
MGS4 is a must have.

i like that psp integration part :D and it should also have a thing to deactivate it so when a friend isnt over....
has anyone brought the stealth and the bandanna or whats it called I already beat the game like 11 times already i dunno if thats allot but i played it to get those stuff and i was also able to buy every weapons while i was at it...
well i did its awesome the stealth doesn't last very long i haven't timed it but it last maybe close to after 5 minutes or more and the bandanna gives you infinite ammo :D
the stealth is really awesome no one can see me :D i keep walking in front of other soldiers pushing them and where like huh but never investigated they just returned to what they were doing i also shoot them but they don't do anything still
for the bandanna you have infinite ammo on whatever weapons but not items....just so you know
also they have this weird gun called the solar gun it shoots like a sun shaped orb it charges up also and stuff and it does kill and when you look at the info of the gun or viewer it just gives you some poem and other stuff...weird i haven't finish trying out every weapon i just started playing again yesterday...if anyone wants to ask me about something go ahead i'll be playing :D
