Are you thinking of the right part? There was the actual MGS part where you got to play the original, then there is the part where they totally remade the level for the MGS4 engine.

I thought the complexity of the story line, would entertain someone smart like you. Its sure a great change from the ******** that can be found elsewhere.


Anyway, i think just for the sheer graphical and sound values in this game, it deserves it. The end is just something i've never played.

I thought they were really well done. And I can't see how you can say they all acted the same, if by general you mean crazy, then yes, but each had a specific emotion they were ruled by. And I thought the backstories were really well done.

Well since you're just gonna ignore my question about Solidus, it would help if you payed attention to the Epilogue. Big Boss tells you exactly what happened to Solidus after the events of MGS2 leading to his death on the Volta River.

that Johnny's face looks like Big Boss? His face was never revealed before, in any of the games he's been in. Could it be possible that he's another clone or am I just crazy?

He was a genome soldier in MGS1 meaning he had Big Boss's genes in him.

That he expected something to clear things up because prior to the epilogue, nothing had been said about Solidus...so in a sense...he knew Big Boss was gonna be there


And I too had a Mega Man tune playing in my head mainly after beating Crying Wolf...the Mega Man 3 tune to be exact

They mentioned Solidus a few times before the epilogue, either with Big Mama or the Debriefing with Naomi, just that he died in Manhattan. If they had said exactly what happened to Solidus's remains, it would've made you think wether or not that was really Big Bosses body that got burnt at the Volta and also it would've lessen the the surprise at the end.

Also Johnny is not affected by SOP, surely the genome would be affected in some way if Big Boss' genes affect SOP due to the patriots system?

Honestly, I think it's just a little joke, well not really a joke, but kind of like an easter egg, but not really. Kinda like how Raikov(sp?) in MGS3 looked strikingly familiar to Raiden, but really had no relations with him.
