Too many third person shooters? Gears of War, Resident Evil, and Socom... I think I just named every game in that genre.

There's a couple more I think but yeah, it's not anywhere near the crowdedness that is FPS.

Yeah, I was exaggerating a bit, but still. In addition to the shooting, there's great hand-to-hand combat, which is something you never see in "shooters".

I'm sorry, but this could honestly be my game of the year, even though I own Halo 3 and the Orange Box. Of course, they still have to deliver. But, from what I've seen, this game is AWESOME. I haven't touched my PS3 in a month and a half. This will definitely break that.

It's out in the Sun and most of the textures are bright in colour.



As you can see, it's nice and bright in the sun and darker in the shadows. I think it's perfectly balanced and remember that this pic is quite compressed. Some of the new shots are money. I can't wait for this to drop, I'll be throwing my money at the register in anticipation of getting home to play it.





I still can't get over how awesome this pic looks. So much detail and ND games are usually very enjoyable, so I expect this one to be just as fun. GOTY (at least for this genre) for PS3 bar none.

WTH, the animations looked crap at 3Rooms. I didn't play it but I hated the animations I saw when people were playing it.

I don't know what to think about this game to be honest >.< I would love to rent it when it comes out but renting PS3 stuff in the UK is non existent.
I guess ill have to find some gameplay footage sometime.

The build at 3 rooms wasn't the newest AFAIK. They have been tweaking it quite a bit since E3 and animations were one of the main things to get "tweaked", as well as how many bullets it took to take down enemies. They were saying it took too long to kill an enemy and it slowed the pace down too much.

Little off topic but watch the latest 1up show. They have a piece on Uncharted and their piece on R&C is awesome. I may just buy it as well to keep me busy until Uncharted comes out.

Yeah, I saw it too. That and screen tearing were really holding me back from wanting to buy it.

You MUST! download the 1up show I linked and watch from pretty much the 20 minute mark. They talk about how far the builds have come since E3 and even since TGS.

HtH combat looks so good now. Shooting looks way better and overall it looks much more polished and couldn't notice any tearing at all.

I thought the animations were really good. Like when you came to run over a step, it would move Drake to work with the step. Making it looks realistic.

I think it was just when you shot the bad guys. They kind of jumped around and it looked very odd. They also toned down some of the death animations, which is good as they looked pretty ridiculous.

Explosions look pretty crazy as well.

No it was the crosshair. You'd move the analogue slightly and the crosshair would move right across the screen. Making it really hard to hit someone.

Probably was an old build, just hope its been altered. Or at least has the option to change sensitivity.

Just got done watching it.
I gotta stop watching these as well,very nice video.I love the dialogue between the 2 as there looking for a way into/out of the cave. Seems like more of an adventure that way:)
And I'm glad they fixed how many times you had to shoot the guys to kill them. It was way unbalanced in the first few videos. Explosions look really tight and the polish is starting to shine on it.
Looking like a very nice game indeed. can not wait to lighten my wallet on this puppy!
