I've been playing Fight Night Round 3 for a while now and have become quite addicted to the game. Recently I got my internet connection back "moved" so I started to play online. Playing online I've noticed some odd stuff fighters that seemed invincible. One guy just stood there and let me throw hay maker after hay maker yet didn't go down. On another fight the opponent was throwing jabs so fast that my character just froze. I was down within a few seconds of the first round from jabs. I'm not sure if there's a exploit being used or this the result of some type of custom configuration. I only use the TPC "total punch controll" default config, in the game it is easy to tell who is simply button mashing in the game. They punch left-right-left-right-left-right and if done right gives a unskilled player a considerable advantage Losing is bad enough but losing to some idiot with a button and a turbo switch just sucks. Now I do know that I could go out and get turbo switch and a button to press to make it even or uneven. But why play the game then why practice if it's only a matter of configuring and hardware.
I would like to start a petition for EA to add the option for me to screen out opponents that are using alternate button configurations. They already have a lobby for "Analog Only" so they know about this and the advantage it brings. If people want mash buttons at each other good for them. If I want to play at a disadvantage that should be my choice.
Not sure what to do to get this started or if anyone would be behind me in this.
