Super Stardust HD Trophies Help

Hope some people can help me with these =-D I'm having a few problems with some of the achievements, especially the co-op one, I don't even understand what it means. Can anyone tell me:

What does the continuous co-op weapon boost trophy mean? Me and my neighbour thought it was that, when you are close together, the weapons are slightly stronger. But whenever we try that method we either end up completing the level in under 3 minutes, or something lands on our heads and kills us. Can anyone confirm what this one is?

Secondly, the two "Endless" mode achievements are causing me major problems. Usually what I do is fly around avoiding enemies and boosting a lot, but it's not working very well =-P and the most nukes I've got are like,3, they rarely show up for me!

Third one I'm having problems with is the "Bomber" mode achievement. Is there any way to get the bombs other than the ship? And if not, is there any way to get the bombs without using a bomb?

If you fly just behind the ship, or just in front of it (as close as you dare), ONE bomb, will destroy the ship and release both bombs it was carrying (pick-up able, not just containers), of course, picking up that means you have one extra bomb.
You start with 10, so you must do this to five ships to get the achievement, the best method is to stay close to the blue sections as the asteroids will bounce off them, makes it a little easier to navigate and stay out of the asteroid rings, of course then you get the red things chasing you, to kill them without using bombs make them run into the blue sections, or the asteroids..

it is a very, very hard achievement to get, as is the 'get 15 tokens in one boost' as the tokens degrade over time.

Thanks for the hints, gave it another try, I still fail. I can't use bombs to defend myself, I can only get a maximum of one bomb per ship (I've got the knocking them out down to a tee) and it just gets harder and harder >.< I fail miserably lol.

I read you can just fly next to each and dodge everything and you will get it.

I had to use it for the "collect 15 tokens in one boost". It was actually easier than I thought. I never boost, the only time I did was when I tried to get that trophy, but failed, til I figured out how to get it.

Just incase you guys are wondering, you CAN'T get the coop one unless you bought the team addon pack when it was released, as they pulled it at the same time they pulled 2.40.

Well after a few hours (days?) of work, I finally got all the trophies except for late boomer, and the co-op one (which I don't have yet) Have tried late boomer literally hundreds of times, closest I got is 14, It's causing me extreme frustration >.<

For some reason they have taken down the SSHD 4.00 Update until they fix 2.40 which is frustrating because I bought the game for the trophy's and have 2.40. Oh well it is a really addicting game anyway.

Lol you don't want the patch, damn it's annoying. My thumb is rubbed raw and I'm ready to kill Housemarque for the bomber one.

For the token thing boost through the large bonus rock you get when you destroy 15 numbered ones. I got it on my first try.

the extra ships optional, late boomer and shock and awe are hard as hell. still havent unlocked them yet.

You level up about halfway through them - I've got all but one and I'm Level 2 and a half =-) I need one more gold, which I can't get til the other expansion is released again

For Token Hoarder - Go to planet 2-1 on easy. Don't kill any greens. Wait until the "numbered" meteors start coming down - when you kill them all a large green "bonus" will come up. If you can, kill some greens to get "points" trailing behind you. Go past the green rock, turn around, and boost directly in the middle of it. Usually you can get up to 16 I think from the green rock, and if you hit those extras you had trailing, you should get it no problem. Don't shoot the rock - just boost directly into it.


I just got bomber, and I can tell you it was a nightmare.

Co-Op you can't get without the multiplayer expansion, which is removed for now >.<

If you can, kill some greens to get "points" trailing behind you. Go past the green rock, turn around, and boost directly in the middle of it. Usually you can get up to 16 I think from the green rock, and if you hit those extras you had trailing, you should get it no problem. Don't shoot the rock - just boost directly into it.

thanks for the tip, i just got it. now i just need the bomber and co-op. however i got 14 bombs on bomer, but then had to use one because i had a crap load of enemies after me, but i failed, ending up crashing into a rock. =/
