So yeah, i got my beta key from eurogamer, who else got one? The download is 1508mb. Can't wait to play! What's everyones thoughts on it?

I'm debating weather I want to pre-order this... I was such a Socom 2 dork, but I don't know if that was a genuinely good game, or if it's just retro goggles.

Socom 2 was amazing, especially at the time. The other ones...they didn't quite do it for me.

If I trade someone for Qore 1 would I still get in on the beta, or does Qore only get you one beta key? I got a guy and we were going to swap episode 1 for episode 3 but that would be pointless if the betas won't work

Ok, so theres a few bugs, like when joining a game, it can take like 4-8 minutes, no joke. Graphics are sweet with no jaggies. Gameplay is a bit slow, theres bad framerate issues, bad lag. If this is all fixed by launch, its worth getting. Almost everyone uses a headset in this game.

I actually played a decent game this morning, when there were only a handfull of people online, there was no lag/framerate issues. It's a decent game.

That first trailer really did it for me. It looked like absolute utter crap as far as next-gen quality goes. It looked like ps2 quality, or in some cases even worse...

..After reviewing some actual gameplay videos, I guess it isn't really all that bad. I'll probably be buying it.

What was up with that trailer though? Did anyone else think it was garbage?

I got mine from eurogamer. You just sign up and click a button, they had 6000 codes to give away.

So is the actual game any better from the beta?

I'm seriously considering getting it but something in the back of my head is making me second-guess my decision. From the reviews I could find (there is barely any online yet for whatever reason), the game is getting mixed reviews. Some people are praising it, others are just calling it out as crap.

What's your opinion guys?

I have it ordered as well. I ordered the bundle.

The way I see it, if I don't like the game, I can always trade it in for a different game and keep the headset. I really loved Socom 1 and 2 though, so I hope this pulls through.
