I make more than that in one 40-hour week and I still don't want a PS3.
Sometimes I'll pull in $4,000 over a two-week period, but that's working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and that's behind a goddamn desk. I don't do that too often.

Some of you touting the "free" online services offered by Sony can't seem to remember the horrible reviews their store has gotten and the fact that you get what you pay for.
If you pay nothing then don't expect anything.
Unlike Microsoft where you pay about $50 a year and you damn well get a good experience, much better than what Sony offers.

Nobody is telling you to wait. GTHD already supports rumble... and you just need a driving wheel set that supports rumble to use that. Besides, since when was rumble such a big deal? I thought people didn't like it when the PS2 was first introduced to have it built-in? :P And what's up with comparing the game library of something that has been out for over 1 year to the game library of something that has been out for a few months? (Less than 6) To be quite honest, I see to those as "excuses" you are making just to say that the PS3 is bad for what it's worth. I mean... did Sony ever promise the rumble features to users to say the least? I have both systems, I have researched them carefully before I made my choices (heck, I could just update my PC instead of having to buy these things), and to be honest, each one of them is worth every penny I spent for them. None of them has missed out on what they promised to offer...Zitat:

Off-topic: If you have time to whine about this, you should whine about Microsoft's decision to implement HDMI ports and bigger HDDs to the new 360 consoles so late... since they're basically doing the same thing Sony is doing with rumble.
as of now, no the PS3 is not worth it, at least in my opinion.
Give it six months to a year and you will definately be satisfied with the PS3.

and the 360 is hella refined. microsoft works at polishing and making their software perfect, while sony has the unfortunate tendenacy to just throw features on that seem like they only been tested for about 10 minutes.

How do you mean "crappy". Im sure you've played R:FOM online, which is pretty damn good and has a rather large user base. 40 players at once and some of the levels are huge. Motorstorm isnt as good but it's still fun and races with 12 other people are very entertaining. So far it's still not up to par with live it's well on it's way.
Home is just an addition to PSN, we'll see if it adds to the experience or not. If it does, then PSN is a great service; especially free of charge. It will make acheivements seems rather bland in comparison.
I think the PS3 is great- it's kind of like the PSP I suppose. Lots of untapped potential. If I were you I'd wait- many are anticipating a PS3 price cut... or rather if you have money to burn now then it's not a big problem :)
I mean Sony did cut the price of the PSP and now it's selling pretty well... they might do it for the PS3.
World is right now that Sony just made a cheapz way of manufacturing their laser diodes ($8 a pop) so we might see some pretty badass price cuts...
40 ppl online is nice but im a pc gamer as well and 40 is nice but doesnt even touch other fps like it like BF2 32vs32 matches with BIG maps and actually requires teamwork. By crappy i mean the whole setup. Each game has its own friends list wtf? Even the xmb has its own friends list its really annoying. I cant chat or send messages to people while in game. Im not sure if theres a recent player list either.Zitat:

I'd say listen to the people that have PS3 and 360. They either say go for PS3 (sinfulate + mcwhalen), or wait until PS3 is better, otherwise get a 360 (runaway prisoner). I'm waiting, if PS3 had something truly good to offer, rather then gimmicks (motion sensing) and blu-ray (only real reason to buy it), then i'd get one...but, i'm waiting...
So in the meantime i'll play 360 because it does everything as well or better, and PS3 will only get cheaper....

We can't tell you what you want, but I'd advise you to go and do some research. See what games are out that you want and what/when the games you want are coming out.
