PS3 questions (PS2 chip & CPU)

Ya I agree I havent played NFS but I love how rpgs let you change the background music to whatever you want with custom tracks. I had the Kingdom Hearts Background music while playing enchanted arms was sweet.

Because tv is thru windows media center which is on the 360 only. ya you can put the shows you record on your ps3 but it would be a waste. You watch and record it on your 360 just to convert it and play it on your PS3? What would be the point?

remember the ps3 1.8 update,the one that can stream media from media center and wmp11?
and also one of your points is 360 can play music from a zune,so why not copy it to zune and copy back to ps3 cause ive been able to do that before with a zune I had.fyi it has to do with editting your registery ever so slightly to make explorer accept the zune

Because on the 360 you don't need to jump through hoops to do it.

or why not use a psp or an ipod?
theres more of those together than zune will probably have this decade lol.

forgot about that mostly because i have my ps3 hooked up via ethernet.

I didn't know I needed a wifi adaptor since I have been playing online with my 360 since launch without one.

hmm i was thinking about hooking my PS3 up via the Ethernet, atleast that way i wouldn't keep losing connections because i'm a bit far from my router :)

It's not that the 360 does everything better... it's just that the 360 IS DOING BETTER. The PS3 has a lot of potentials... but so far, we haven't seen much except for Sony's promises. Here are a few things the PS3 does better than the XBox360:

- It's able to read Blu-Ray discs out of the box without the need to purchase a standalone add-on. (Well, good for people with HDTV)
- It has an HDMI port built-in.
- Wi-fi built-in.
- PSN is free... except for some stuffs that you have to buy, but you can try most of them out, anyways.
- Almost perfect PS2 backward compatibility. <= This really leaves the 360 light years behind.
- It is more quiet.

Guess what? The rest... (mostly music and other media related stuffs) is on the 360's side more than the PS3's.

Don't forget that the PS3 doesn't have a huge block sticking out the back of the console...:p

IMO the fact that EVERY 360 game I play is in 1080p is better than all the PS3's features. I wonder how many PS3 owners even own a 1080p tv Blu-ray is pretty useless without it.

PS2 backward compatibility doesnt matter the fact that some people play more PS2 games on there PS3 shows how crappy PS3 games are. If I wanted to play PS2 or xbox games I would have bought one for $40.

The problem is the PS3 cant really do much you take away blu ray and its worth like $200.

why did kojima pick it then?cause last I checked everybody loved his games except for a select few.I have a friend thats an admitted 360 fanboy and he loves mgs1-4 and mgs:po and mgs:gn

Why he pack what in? Well I dont know who kojima is and I dont love MGS games(I wont be buying MGS4) so everyone doesnt love mgs games.

This was on the list of Gamepro's top 5 stories in there latest issue.
