xbix360 is going to suck... sucky graphics sucky online (69.99 just to play online!) and ps3 is just a big sliver piece of s*** nintendo revoultion is going to be the best with the new Smash Bros 2, Metoird Prime 3 and the new mario and zelda games. and best of all revoultion will be 250 at the max.
here comes the nintendo fanboys now..
I guess I should point out that Smash Bros. II has already come out. ;)

I can honestly say i hate nintendo games :dry: . All the other games have grown up, but nintendo remains too "kiddy" for me to get into :snooty: . The last nintendo game i liked was "ocarina of time" :clap:

All we know is its gonna be around 5 times faster than the GC and is controlled differently. The point of this thread was that sony are in trouble if they price the console the way they want to. And the problem is if they dont price it high the lose so much more. Ther selling each console at a big loss. The thing is they didnt need to, ther making some sort of hybrid pc, we dont want that I have a pc for that. I wanted sony to make a powerful good "games console" not some made home entertainment system. As it turns out ms are doing just what I want an affordable powerful games console. And they have insane developer support, it matches that of sony. I kept my ps2 when i got my xbox for 1 reason, and thats xbox had no rpgs worth playing, the best it cud come up with is fable. the 360 has loads of rpgs in development. Now as a poor poor student I dont want to buy a 500 pound console that isnt all its hyped up to be and just some marketing ploy which lets face it the only advantage the ps3 has over the 360 is blu ray. And the 360 price is between 250-300 pounds, it has online play, it has loads of games, its powerful and its not trying to be some stupid hybrid. I wanted a games console from sony, all ive got it lies, pre rendered footage, sony officials slagging off ther competitors, some ****y blu ray drive I dont want (dvd wont be replaced within the next 5 years), a stupid price tag and they havnt even included a hard disk. Sony are good at treating every1 like ****, ask the developers who treats them better sony or MS they would say MS hands down. The ken guy said he wants to make every1 need the ps3, feel like they cant live without it, believe me I could live without that 100glops extra and that blu ray drive and save myself 250 quid.Zitat:

hehe, I use VHS's more than DVD's due to the prices, I'm still using the same tv for about 5-7 or more years I think, panasonic 32 inch, no way I'm going plasmas (those die out in two years), and large screens are too expensive :(Zitat:

ps3 does not need blu ray support a games console doesnt require that sort of storage its just not needed. Even more so in nextgen since custenes and pre renders are a thing of the past. Only games like xenosaga required two dvds and lets face it, it was mostly movies. Ps3 blu ray is for 1 thing and 1 thing only, so that they beat HD-dvd by giving buyers of its console a medium to use. In trying to be clever they have created an expensive console and they will alienate potential console buyers.

Right...Sony needs the PS3 to have Blu-Ray more than the PS3 needs to have Blu-Ray. With Microsoft taking on HD-DVD on the XBox 360, things could get very interesting very quickly. And also really, really dirty.
Gimmick, maybe. But which handheld plays FPS games decently? And the reason nintendo keeps making Mario Party games is because people keep buying them...Zitat:

Lambda...just for the record, Sega actually had the first analog stick for the Mega Drive (Genesis).

i love nintendo games and would probably get the revolution. I have my 360 for graphics and online, i need my revolution for orginitly and nintendo party games. I dont need the ps3, its overpriced and wont be any different from my 360.
