It has a chance (as long as pricing is good) and is a different type of game that PSN hasn't seen yet. It looks meaningless but I still want to play it. My point was, once PSN has more diversity, it will become a better experience.Zitat:

When i first saw Pain my initial reaction was that it was going to get flamed by anti-violent video game people left right and centre, personaly it dosent apeal to me, yet i would still give it a go.
Atomic, that can be said of all systems, even NES and SNES. Games will always get better looking with time. I guess lot's of people thought that with "twice the power" the PS3 should start off with better looking games and progress even more from there...especially after a year wait for it.
So then you wonder, if it really does have the better hardware (like ps2 actually had more FLOPS then xbox) but the learning curve to program for it is so much that it generally stays pace(or lags behind abit) with it's competitor because they theoreticaly have "lesser" hardware but it's easier to harness...they end up always being neck and neck....but you got a year less play out of it and paid more....then 3-4 years later when it's showing it's legs and it's figured out, something at least twice as powerful is released....
Anyways, way off topic ;) With everything, we just have to wait I guess....
I think it'll pretty much neck and neck as well. Just look at John Woo's Stranglehold, that's supposed to be identical on both systems. I was actually just listening to an Podcast Beyond on IGN and they all say by the end of this year games will start to look completely similar. That's coming from IGN reporters who knows and have seen more about upcoming games than all of us have.Zitat:

You are comparing a game to a movie, and that's a drastic difference. By the way, Eragon had human actions, what does Lair have aside from you riding a dragon for the entire duration of the game? :/ Get the Eragon game for the PSP... and you'll see how it's like an airplane game when you ride the dragon.Zitat:

I am talking about Sony not delivering us features... or games... that we should have had eons ago. :/Zitat:
If you want to see not delivering try STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl, great game it is but the bugs and the lateness of patches dosen't make it looks good.
What I'm wondering is how you know that it's exactly like an airplane game when you haven't played it yet. Watching it isn't playing it.Zitat:

Because watching someone play it can show you how a game plays out. Example you don't have to play Super Smash bros to now its a fighting game.Zitat:

The fact that this game was delayed after many sites already reviewed it tells me it had to have some serious problems and I wont even be renting it. Also gamepro gave it a 3.75/5 and it was a pretty positive review.
I was talking about Eragon and I played that game... and beat it... FYI. The dragon missions are like a cheap ripoff of a helicopter game. Lair might be better... but judging from the gameplay videos and trailers, etc... I think it's starting to look more like Eragon without the human parts (you go around slashing people) and instead, you get to wipe at people with your dragon (the HULK, anyone?). It really might not be all that bad... but reviews of hands-on for it aren't exactly saying that it's going to be a kickass game.Zitat:
