Just read the announcment for PlayTV last night and I have to say I'm pretty excited about it. (http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/08/22/...n-ps3-systems/)
Couple of thoughts i've had though:
With more games likely to head towards being downloadable (e.g. Warhawk) and taking up valuable space on the HDD, buying a larger than 60gb HDD is something that I will have to consider if I want to use PlayTV effectively (i.e record a weeks worth of TV while on holiday). Is there a way to transfer all my games and stuff from the 60gb HDD to a new, larger one in the the future or is there a load of security stuff that sony have put in place to stop games being copied from HDD to HDD?
Also does anyone know if the PS3 HDD can be viewed from another PC or PS2 as a media server while it's being played (am thinking way ahead of myself here to the possibility of being able to watch PlayTV recorded shows on my laptop or PS2's SMS player in another room)
Looking forward to hearing everyone elses thoughts
