I don't know if anyone has ever actually seen one of the computer chips that causes the PS3 to have BC. My friend works at the company that builds them for Sony and just recently showed me a form of plaque that had all of the chips that were ever made. It was amazing to see that the very first ones that went in the PS2 were pretty big, but then he showed me how they began to grow much smaller in scale to a very finely cut and built piece.
Then I asked him how much it actually cost to manufacture, and it turns out only about $6-12 USD. Imagine how Sony decided to remove that from the 40 Gigabyte model, and it only cost an extra $10, tsk tsk.
From what I have heard, I'm guessing Nevada has already seen something like this, but I just felt like sharing to the community about it.
