I am thinking of buying one of them but i don't know which one to get. I am used to the playstation paddles. I know Xbox has Halo which is a plus for that. But I also want to use it as a computer in my bedroom. So which ever one is better at online. Just give me your reasons why you like one of them.

From my personal experience...
The Dual-Shock 3 is very comfortable especially if you've been playing the Playstation primarily for the past 2 generations of the Playstation Console. I absolutely HATE the 360 controller, playing Call of Duty on it is next to impossible (Why have a D-Pad and Analog Stick in the wrong place? >_<) The Playstation Network is free to access where-as Xbox-Live costs. Also this is a low-blow but oh well, the PS3 is MUCH more stable than the 360 with a much less percentage of breaking down. So in conclusion, buy a Playstation 3.

Playstation Three all the way. Microsoft's 360 is just a giant money pit like the Wii. $100 for WiFi for the 360. To hell with that. I'm paying 2 or 3 hundred dollars for their system, WiFi should be included.
Although I have to say, I am jelous of the MW2 360 Elite coming out. I want one, but I'm not shelling out the money for it. I'd rather have someone custom paint my PS3 with ACU Camo, and put TaskForce 141 in a few spots. |

The Xbox 360 is super problematic as i remember the failure rate was in the 60-70% margin in the first year and its outrageous. The PS3 is cheap easy and 1080p so if you want the good, non-problematic and WiFi included system go for the king PS3!
The only good thing about the 360 was iXtreme and the team that made it stopped releasing updates so your stuck with Wave 1/2/3 games which means NO TEKKEN!!!!!!

That's the only thing that is not so good (I wouldn't call it bad), is that the PS3 isn't hackable.....yet. It's only a matter of time before we find our door. May not be today, tomorrow, or even next year, but someone will find out how.
PS3 games....I like them more than 360. You can't play SOCOM *(even with it's problems it's still an alright game.)*, Killzone, Resistance, or Infamous on the 360. Only thing I miss from the 360 was Halo, and I am not even that good at it. Other than that, I'm still PS3 > 360. |

That's 5 votes for the PS3... I own a 360, because it came out first, all my friends have one and the only games I play on console are online games.

i would go for the ps3 for these reasons: It has built in wifi so you wouldn't need to connect it directly to an Ethernet cable if you have a wireless router. The PSN (playstation Network) is free to all playstation owners, and is great for online play. also the psn has the playstation store which is great for downloading free demos, videos, trailers, wallpapers and themes and psn games which only cost you little. Go and search more on the internet, many websites should have discounts in xmas time.

PS3, just to say. All my reasons are above.
Ohh, and just because I didnt want to read and see if somebody eles has said it. IT HAS BLU-RAY! The WINNER! Microsofts HD-DVD lost the format war!

360 if you can afford to purchase a new system annually since they're so freaking problematic. I've always been an xbox guy, but seriously, this breaking down is ridiculous. I've gone through like 5 since launch.

If you are an addict to Winning Eleven, you should go for PS3, it also can be a Blu-ray player, which cost a few hundred dollars, ps3 has got a right track on this fabulous function. And I agree with above, I've searched for a few websites which are having discounts to ps3 console, but the most attractive one is the lucky draw by dsstyles, they are launching it right now, seems so attractive, go www (doc) dsstyles (dot) com and see the details.
