hi have you seen this before its for sale in the uk Ebay site:

Faulty Ps3 YLOD Repair CLAMP KIT + guide 2009

item number: 280419078273

do you think it works? i thought you had to heat the cpu to reflow it to get the ps3 to work again

idk....don't buy it yet until someone else that knows replies but i also have a 360 and you do almost the same thing for the rrod and you get it to overheat until it restarts again and it starts working again but never had a ylod on my ps3 so i won't know if it works the same.... just wait till someone who knows more post...but in the meantime google if you can find another forum or site that proves this work

The only reason a PS3 would get a YLoD would be 99.9% a user-made problem.
