1. Include the [20GB?] HD mandatory - what's the point of the PS3 without a HD? If it's not included, many people will not get it by themselves, but if it IS included, then it will be of great use (maybe we will have to emulate old games like the XBOX360?) -why not take off some USB inputs (who needs SIX USB inputs at once? I dont even have 6 USB devices!) and also the extra HDMI port (seriously, are you gonna buy 2 HDTVs when not even 30% of people have a HDTV?) and replace those with the HD?
2. We need an online system for the PS3 that will rival XBOX360's "XBOX LIVE" and maybe even surpass it. What would really totally kick ass is if the online support is FREE. Just like the PS2, make an excellent online marketplace yet charge absolutely NOTHING for it.
3. Keep the price below $500. - IF prices go above 500, people will definately consider waiting a while before buying the PS3. Also, try using the XBOX360's stradegy: sell 2 different versions. One "lite" versions and one "full version".
4. Start out with an awesome lineup of games. - The XBOX360 only had about 20 games at lineup, and almost half of those were just ports of older games. SONY has to bring out a fresh lineup of games with the PS3 launch and also make sure the prices are within range ($70 or $80 dollars a game is just plain ridiculous.)
