Aso, I don't care about the systems, I could care less which is better (the PSX/2 is the king however) I want to play the games I want to play. The only 360 game I want it dead rising and the only Wii games I want right now are Metroid and SSB:B, The PS2 has DMC4 and Armored Core 4 and MGS4 and so on. So I'll probably have all three evnetually, but I want the PS3 first

Simple...Sony wants to sell PS3s REAL BAD so the ywill buy every single blue diode they can get their paws on for an entire year to go into PS3 consoles. In the end, in the U.S. there will be one single dominant Blu-Ray player: the PS3.
Blu-Ray video will then go the way of UMD video, since most folks will see it as a "Sony PS3 Only" video format when compared to DVD or even HD-DVD.

Either way regardless of sonys moronic antics, fanbois arguments and ps3's dying left and right with overheating issues, the console will do well, even if it were only to depend on diehard sony fanboys, that being, before any major titles are released.
Sony ****ed up with pretty much everything surrounding the console, but then at the end of the day it isn't the console that makes or breaks it, it's the games written for it, so fingers crossed the ones working on ps3 titles will squeese every last bit of goodness from that breadbin on a black shiny fingerprint magnet box, and make it worthwhile for those whos parents and rich (or stupid) enough to buy their kids a ps3, (oh hi TMK).
Personally i couldn't care less about the political side of things, i'm a gamer, i game, if the games play as well as they look i'll be happy, and given how fun warhawk is at times, and how utterly amazing WKS was to play, im sure the future titles to come will be just fine.
As for the whole controller argument?, i don't really care, i'll be turning off tilt control and sticking to analog sticks whenever it is possible to do so, if i wanted to be moving around while i play, i'd be outside playing basketball or football, not sat in front of a tv knocking **** off shelves while i spaz out in the livingroom.
However i do see the benefits of "physical" control like the one used in the Wii for 90% of the american market, lord knows it's the only exercise some of those kids will ever get (Yes i'm looking at you, Kyozabe).
Now we just need a console that requires you to use a toothbrush and maybe all these dirty chavs in the uk wouldn't be walking around with urine yellow gnashers.
hah, well, il rather jump around like a moron in front of the tv then be a lazy potato with a boring ps3 controller. :p and the wii remote, out of what i have tested, looks like a perfect way to play fps and really cool party games. its very precize and responsive. the only thing i didnt like wtih it was that it feelt very plastic and cheap, but i gues il have to live with that for the great prize it will be sold as.Zitat:

As anyone who played time crisis for more than 30 minutes will tell you, you'll either stop because it hurts or continue and have arms like arnie, either way i'm quite happy with a normal controller
and for the record, i own an xbox 360, and i have a nintendo wii ordered, for smash bros and zelda though most of the other games look ****ing horrible.
i have a psp and a ds lite, and BOTH of them sit on my shelf collecting dust, even though the psp is 1.5 and the dslite has the appropriate cardage to play downloaded retail games, oh well.
