As for not liking them all much, no, i do!, its just, i prefer to keep neutral on the subject and base my likes and dislikes on them when theyre out retail and being played by me, not listening to hype from some fanbois.

Althought i review many games, and try to keep as neutral brand wise as possible, BUT even so i will say this, trust demos and in some cases screenshots, do not trust reviewers, reviewers are not you, and do not have your tastes.

It's my job to have them :P, i got the 360 and ps3 free, and will be getting the wii free also, company pays for the hardware i use ;)

What I'm pointing out is that Sony is so fcuking BAD at handling PR campaigns ever since Molly-the-head-PR-flack left the company that they even figure out ways to insult their die-hard fanbase.
The party is on the 8th, the console launches in the U.S. on the 17th and they are telling their die-hard fanbois that while they might actually win a free PS3 from Sony itself on the 8th they might have to wait up to 20 weeks to get one.
In other words, even if you win the trip/PS3 the kid down the street from you will probably have one days/weeks before you get your hands on the free one.

But you couldn't figure that out on your own now, could you?

Looks like whoever wins could wind up waiting almost that long...
And what's the point of giving it away at a PREMIERE party if you have to wait 20 weeks to get it, long after it already launched in the U.S.?
$20 says Sony just gives the winner some sort of coupon and he/she can battle it out in line with the other fanbois on launch day.

You may be able to pull that "i'm smarter than you" **** to other people but it doesn't fly with me, boy.
So what if it takes up to 20 weeks for delivery at least they state that on the site so people "as smart as you" will know they'd be better off just buying one from a store.

I disagree. I hate GamePro. I haven't been there for a while, but back when I was, they seemed very anti-PS3 at the time.

Oh please, for starters they're console specific, secondly even with console specifics theres alot of bias going on with reviewers, back in the day a common occurance for publishers would be to "leave the games/consoles with reviewers" if they awarded a decent score, of course theres also the waddage of press material they provide (not so much these days due to the advent of using dvd's for resources), either way they still push unrequired bunf in.
Not allowed to be specific here since that last time it was brought up caused a **** torrent of hasstle, but not long ago an "official" gaming magazine did a "hands on review" of a game, after receiving only a cdr containing prefab screenshots.

i don't expect you or most people to understand fully the extend of underhanded **** going on in the gaming magazine world but i work in it myself, and i wouldn't trust a ****ing word said by anyone when deciding on what games to play or buy.

Great so maturity is based on how much you get paid and handle at work, if you're going to brag about pay, then don't go on to mention how much you HANDLE in your job, and just say how much you MAKE instead..
Needless to say i can pretty much garuntee, while i do not work with or handle things beyond the 5mill mark, i'm doubtless on the fact that i earn more than you, boy.

How much equipment you *handle* means *nothing.*

I'm 15.

I handle ~$500mil of equipment (4x IBM zSeries) fairly often.

I also make however much people pay me out of gratitude (about nothing) and am simply a highschool student.

Comparing paystubs with Fluff is a terrible idea. There's no winning.
