not true, many job occupancies are using gaming ( ie: medicine), because they are becoming more technologically advanced. It is recommended to play video games to get better at surgeries ( laproscopic surgeries) because in one hand you hold the camera and the other you use the your tools, you make a small incisions you dont cut the person up and do it while looking at the person. the rest is all on the screen, the better the graphics,t he more life like it is=better.Zitat:

He's right for once. You need big budget games nowadays even XBL arcade cost a ton. You cant have low budget games and that means less different types of games plus more sequels over new titles. Better graphics = more cost.Zitat:

Obviously SNES(many SNES games are better than some xbox 360 games, wii games and ps3 games). Not once has a game been released yet with the same amazing awesome and simple gameplay as Super mario Bros 3(New Super Mario Bros for the ds wasnt nearly as good as the SNES ones). And I would think most ps3 owners would agree(about playing SNES games over ps3's crap games). I could be wrong but judging from all the homebrew talk aboutt he ps3 I think alot of poeple are eagerly awaiting for the ps3 to be hacked so they can play emulators and what not. lol and I find this funny you spend $600 on a ps3 with all its power(blu ray player, 1080p, 60gb hd, OS, etc etc) just to play Nintendo's 10+ year old consoles and other homebrew.
I dont own a ps3 but here some of my pro and cons of the system from what I know of it.
Cons
Too pricey for a video game system(double the price of the ps2 =/)
Too many extra features overshadow its core(at its core its just a video game system like xbox, SNES, Neo Geo, Dreamcast, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, and so many others are)
Pros
Has the Sony name on it(For sony fanboy's like my bro who buy anything that says sony on it)
Comes in black
Free online that I believe is better than the crappy ps2 online setup(not sure about this tho never tried it)
Is a true next gen system(like the xbox 360 is) unlike the Wii
Not a bad system if you can justify to yourself to spend $600 on it
Wifi is cool
Psp connectivity/eye toy is cool(does it have that yet?)
Cheap blu ray player for the like 10 poeple who care
one of these days we'll be able to have a thread like this without fanboy squabbles.
Pros :

Browser looks ace on hdtv's

controllers are familiar but new enough to be intresting
controller plastics are semi transparent ;D
drive loader is suweet.
hdd upgradable, no lockouts on it like other systems
7 controllers
bluetooth
inbuilt batteries with decent life cycles, no mess
familiar and solid xmb
cons :
expensive (for kids without jobs)
only available in black (thus far)
odd shape and quite large
not many decent launch titles

How many of the games use motion sensing so far? Besides that, I remember the Ps3 remote being a boomerang and then all of a sudden because of so many complaints (I assume) they changed it back to the PS2 style remote and then added the Motion Sensing. Since it was well after the Wii controller was announced, one could be led to believe that Sony sort of "borrowed" the concept.Zitat:

EDIT: BTW, I'm not completely bias. I own a PS2, an Xbox360, and a Wii...and I love all three of my consoles. I still play PS2 a lot. I love Final Fantasy and most of the PS exclusive games. PS2 was a great system and still is in my mind. I think the Ps3 is good but it has a lot of things that are just not necessary. To be completely truthful, I'm sure not many developers will take advantage of the Ps3 motion sensor.

The motion sensor gives you special moves. If you read the control menu, it tells you that tilting the controller to the right or left makes the person do a crossover and then if you flick it (or something like that) it does another move (forget what it was).Zitat:
