it would be pretty cool to have seasons in the game and be able to create your own player and use real cars . I hate it when they use fake cars :Argh:

I second this guy, those countries are pretty ****ty for GTA, I would like to see GTA in London but done right, not like Getaway or the original GTA: London (obv)Zitat:

Maybe set in a similar place to Sydney in Australia, that's meant to be a violent place, that would set the scene quite well.. Dunno about their pansy video game laws though.
I would really love Las Vegas :)
or maybe some country in Europe......Paris and London wouldn't be bad :D
YEAH!!!!! The next GTA is gonna punch our balls off!Zitat:

Las Vegas is my guess. 1970 Vegas. Afro's, Disco,Bellbottems, and a Vegas where the mob still ran most of Vegas. The character could start out as a lowly thug for one of the Vegas Mob families, and rise up the ladder until he owns half of the strip and dozens of different casinos. missions would include laundering money, picking up hookers for high rolling clients, and "rubbing out" anyone who wins "too much". Them once the day is done, you could go down to one of the many casinos and spend your hard earned money on "good" casino games, not the crappy GTA-SA ones. It would still be interesting enough to still have the era's music, and still have a wide selection of cars.Zitat:

personally though, I'd prefer Edo(Tokyo) I'm prettty much sick of all the "hiphop" GTA like games and an asian twist to the GTA series would be refreshing indeed.(yakuza)
now that i think of it Italy would probably have a nice story to it scine there kida of know for the mob.(don't mean to offend any one)
Los Vages, san fran. and LA where already done in SA. So it wont be LV, Hawii might happen, any forigen contrys wont , But the best bet would be Detroit or possibly Atlanta.Zitat:

san andreas was the only hiphop like gta, so i have no idea what you mean by "all the "hiphop" GTA like games" and we all know the next gta should take place in the mean streets of boston and should be called GTA:bean townZitat:

But already had las vegas. We might get liberty city again (new york) But i believe tokyo or chicago are good places, they bought the GTA title for tokyo alreay and the gta title Sin city, and another one.
whoa. thats so weird, i read the title of this thread and before i clicked the link i thought to myself tokyo. so yeah thats what i voted for. they got the yakuza, and katanas, and and, giant robot anime.
the buy a ton of names so ppl dont know which one they will choose.Zitat:

why not just a worldwide gta. How amazing would that be? Possibilities are endless. Blu ray!!!!
zzzzz.....
How about Grand Theft (Next Generation)
Sequels and updating content is just plain boring...
Like the movie industry the mainstream video game industry in now just resorting to making sequels instead of making new groundbreaking games.
GTA was groundbreaking...
Vice City and San Andreas were just improvements of GTA3, a new name, some new content, and nothing more. It's still the same core game...
It's time to change the series to next generation...
If the next GTA is just updated graphics and scenarios with no innovation I think I could care less where and when they make the next game.
What I expect is a next generation GTA....(on the lines of a GTA2 -> GTA3 scale)
But I bet it will just end up your typical sequel...
New (actually decent) graphics and bigger city with more stuff on screen. (blah blah blah) but nothing next generation.
Why? Because just like movies people love paying money for the same movie with updated content. That's why sequels work so well! I'm not saying GTA is not a good game, I'm just saying if it's going to be on a next generation system you better make it next generation :)
they aren't going to change the gta formula, till it stops working, kind of like the resident evil series, they are going to milk it for as long as they can, before completely revamp the gameplay.

Actually, with the capabilitys of blu-ray, alot more information can be stored, but the world is to big to fit on a CD, so maybe all of the us? all of japan? they dont wanna do london because thats what the getaway does.
And yes i know they buy a bunch of titles so we wont know.
iv heard alot of things that are gunna be in the new one. I agree that with blue-ray we are going to see one huge *** game. I would personally like to see some awsome cars. I like it when its a challange to get to a hidden location to get a cool car. Just a sense of self satisfaction. :Punk:
I would rather see, some good graphics, I hate the horrile graphivs so much, they almost ruin the game.Zitat:

Ha. Ha. Ha... No. You won't fit the entire world onto a blu ray disc. Not without making 2 huge compromises: 1 - the graphics will be nothing like even the current generation GTA games and those graphics are pretty hideous anyway. 2 - They wouldnt have time to make it especially not within the time this generation has. Think - voice acting, photographs, geometry, animating every building, different types of car, different types of people, animals (yeah dont forget the whole world includes thousands of miles of forest and sea, and just plain flat uninhabited land), wheather, polar bears and penguins... No. It won't happen, unless they spend years on it by which time it will be outdated graphics wise and will be like Duke Nukem forever - never come out. Theres also the whole point that they keep spewing out GTA games because they know people will buy them and they can make them really quickly - why bother with that when they can make a GTA in a year or 2 and still make the same profit they would make from recreating the world?Zitat:

You dont know what i mean? over the past year, there have been numerous grand Theft Auto clones with a hiphop twist, the most recent 25 to Life.
And to the people who say Las Vegas has been done in SA, SA's las Vegas city didnt mean ****. Its what? one fourth of the game and has only 1 casino with ****ty games.
I'm talking about a new decade, a GIANT las Vegas like city with plenty of well-made casino games to play, and loads of drug money, afros, and 70's disco.
oh, ok. but who really buys gta clones anywayZitat:

GTA : London
Interesting article about it at www.gtaforums.com
And I've got a slight feeling it will be in the UK
Ok, here what I think they will do (if they do make another GTA)
It'll be called GTA4 and have made up towns in it, just like in GTA2. GTA2 never had a city/country name. Or it will be London, like GTA London 1969 for the PS1. Im thinking this because it anyone noticed in the original GTA, the 3 big cities in it were: Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas, thats how I knew San Andreas was going to be the next one after Vice City. VC and SA are just part stories to GTA3, just like london was to GTA1. So if they go in order the next one will be London, if not it will be a no name city like GTA2.
Grand Theft Auto: Africa

me too.Zitat:

Yeah, Tokyo would be simply great. If not that, Osaka atleast. But if the series wished to stay in America, then it should either be Chicago or L.A.(face it True Crime was teh suck, big time suckiness, I mean turd-like, other worldly. . .(blah, blah, blah).)
China.
Pakistan with Usama Bin Laden.
GTA : Mexican Mafia would be nice since gta themes go with big time gangs or organized crime.
Callleeeforrrneeeeaaaaa
california all the way, from San Fran all the way to San Diego
including Orange County :)
a whole USA thing would be sweeet, from new york to miami, to houston to orange county!!
including every detail.
it might fit on an 80GB BLU-ray ahahahaha
It ain't bad for you, it gives you muscle providing you got fat! When you cycle enough you lose some fat then gain muscle (makes sense to me)... If there no fat to burn it burns ur muscle lol.Zitat:

i was reading on a GTA fanboy site that word floating around now is London.
GTA African Safari.
You get torn apart by Lions, ride on elephants and giraffes with sniper rifle or minigun. The fastest vehicle you get to drive is the 1953 safari bus so you better figure out how to tame Impalas and the Cheetahs (use cheetos, that would be cool).
A few missions could include, rescuing Dave Chapelle so he can do season three, getting rid of the drooling overlord who runs the diamond mines and tripping out after catching malaria.
tokyo all the way but someone said the whole of europe that would just rock! but in gta sa 1 min real time = 1hour game time so it would take like 4 mins to get from like italy to london or something, the whole of usa would rock too imagine it you got cops on your tail 5 star style and your heading for the mexio border and your free but majorly wanted in north america and when you enter you get arested and do time in prison and build your body or brake out and get a new ID....like thats gonna ever happen
