The thing is, I feel no need to go into the 360 forums most of the time...I'm perfectly happy discussing a console that I actually have.

No, I said people are going to need to have them romoved, because Sony continues to **** them, and they don't seem to care. Which doesn't matter to me, I just find it astounding.

Microsoft resently had an XBLA drought. Something like 3 weeks with out a title (5-6 weeks if you don't count Paperboy, and root beer tapper as actually releases... Which I don't.). I, unlike most PS3 owners do with Sony, didn't get defensive with Microsoft. I f*cking bashed their brains in (just ask Macca).

There is one thing about the Playstation brand that bothers me, and it's how appologetic PS3 users are. If there's something wrong with the Xbox 360, I'll call that sh*t out. XBLA the last two months has been an absolute joke. The Wii is a joke to. It has a horrible game line-up. I just don't think PS3 users are calling out Sony as much as they should.

Do I own a PS3? No, but I want one. And I think that in it's self gives me the right to critisize Sony.

This is the kind of language that disqualifies the opinions part of your posts. You basically negate all of your "reasonable" proofs that way, too. I mean... can't you be polite to the other people on the forums for once? Did I ever call you a fool?

And did I say that you were a basher? I was talking about how most of the others have been comparing the XBox360 and the PS3. Also how they make references to the 360 when they talk about Sony. And you could say that Sony is late and all... true... but what's with the continuous "PS3 launch owners are f*ed up by Sony"? I mean... most of the owners said otherwise (including me) and you just keep on forcing your own opinions on us blindly, what's the point? Don't you think we already thought it over before buying a $600 console? I'm sorry... but you're not the only smart one here... not to mention that the sentence literally came off as flaming more than stating opinions.

And please find the difference between ranting and stating opinions and flaming. I basically won't say that you are bashing Sony but I'll say that you are flaming quite a lot of people... who didn't insult you in any way.

I agree, the wii games suck......but the new method of playing makes up for it for me and my friends. MAdden and Wario Ware stand out for me in that aspect, monkeyball is almost there. Then again the systems just came out, there is always a drought, just be patient (BRAWLL!!!!!!!,MGS4!!!!)

lol Sorry, I was confusing you there, wasn't I? I meant how you cursed Sony. It was not likely that you flamed any of the members on these forums in particular but I can quite see how much you curse Sony... and serious cursing = flaming. But anyhow, I don't see the point of beating a dead horse (Sony's mistakes) anymore so... it's still up to you guys... but I'm off the case. Just coming back to explain to you why I did what I did.

I agree with everything the OP says, I don't agree with his claim that "if you don't like PS3, get the **** out of here". This is a PS3 DISCUSSION board, not a PS3 Fans boards. You may not like the PS3 bashers but they are welcome here just like anyone else.

Does this surprise you? Everywhere in life any person you encounter or people you are familiar with are going to have one-sided opinions. Be it politics, religion, woman's right to choose, sports teams, cars, gaming consoles, etc. ( I know I've made my mind up on several of the topics that I mentioned and I highly doubt I can hear a convincing argument to change my stance on them.)

People are going to make their mind up and stick to it no matter what others try to do to convince them otherwise or open their eyes up to the other side of the spectrum. It just seems that since this forum is specifically built for one topic in general, that's all you see predominantly. Add the average age of the user here, and what else should you expect? (I'm in no way trying to age discriminate by that last sentence by the way.)

I am all for PS but THEIR IS NO DOUBT it is a huge flop AT THE MOMENT, can that change? of course but Sony will need to make some big moves or it can be XBOX 1 all over again meaning this powerful box that amounts to nothing and killed early.

I am wondering why this thread still survives...

The thread has remained open to allow for mature discussion about the situation. The users have a right to voice their opinion and as long as this thread doesn't get too out of control, it will remain open.

The main problem with Sony is their lack of "reality" over at SONY HQs.
Honestly, Sony's own execs do the best job of making the PS3 look stupid than anyone else.

I have noticed that nearly everybody 'bashing' (loose sense of the word) Is American. Where I live (UK) neither console is greatly established, 360 more than PS3 by far but still, not greatly eastablished. It's still mainly PS2. Whether it's cheaper prices in America which does the trick, I'm not sure but I serioulsy disagree with people calling the PS3 a 'flop'. Nearly all EU consoles sold out. 360 may be a firm reigning champion over there but In europe I can definately see a bright future for the PS3.

Totally agree with you there. I'll take it one step further - I frequently travel between London, Tokyo and Sydney and I hear NONE of the nonsense I hear from the US users. Also, the amazing irony is that they criticise the lack of Japanese uptake of the XBOX as some form of xenophobia yet it's perfectly right and ok for them to act all patriotic about their own product and virtually in the same sentence coin such phrases as "Jap crap".

It's gotten to the point when I go and look at a PS3 display I expect some XBot or Wiitard to come over and flame me for even thinking about doing so. However, then I realise people aren't so narrow minded here.
