Why is everyone asking if the ps3 would get a Custom Firmware?
The risk is just too big,you can easily brick your PS3 for example:There's no more power, you don't have a battery and if you were in the middle of FLASHING you can FLUSH your PS3 down the toilet (if your toilet is big enough).
But, doesn't anyone remember what Phil said in an Interview?
He said that Sony probably open the gates for homebrew developers and we should be able to play homebrew without hacking our ps3.
Sony said they encourage amateur developers to create their own applications and stuff.
My conclusion: "We just have to wait patiently, just like we did with the first hack of firmware 2.00 for PSP".
