I am an electronics technician for the military. Been reading these forums and sites about the ps3 I got a couple months ago . I have been looking for a hobby to get into and playing around with the design of my machine would be interesting to say the least.Everyone seems stumped on this ps3 free range modification idea. I don't know how Id go about getting the actual electrical schematics so if anyone has any ideas please let me know or at least a general principles of operations.

i DO have schematics for virtually everything, down to detailed data on every layer of the Cell BBE, the only thing i am lacking hardware-schematics wise, is data on the BDRom controller. Suffice to say none of the documents i have, can be shared due to their nature of being private. |

Sorry for the year-long bump, but I've just found this topic via Google. Would it be possible for me to get schematics for the portion of the motherboard showing the components around the fan connector? One of the un-labeled components below it on my PS3 has blown, causing the fan to stop working. Thanks. |
