Here's a video of the new Playstation 3 Rapid Fire Mod I've created. It has no programmed chips, and its cheap and relatively easy to create. The official release will be within a few days. I will include a Tutorial that has step by step instructions with pictures and a Video.

In very simple terms for people who haven't heard of rapid fire, yes, its turbo for your guns in call of duty. Its a G3 with stopping power and steady aim.

If it doesn't use any pre-programmed chips, then what are you charging for? Are you soldering everything and selling the timer and switch, or are you just selling a tutorial?

ok, but how does it work

were is the mod in, ie controller, ps3 console
does it offset a timing mechanism or something

Everything is stored in the empty handles of the SIXAXIS (Or dualshock if you remove one of the rumbles). I cant exactly release how it works until the tutorial comes out. I'm working hard on getting you guys a solid tutorial thats easy to follow.

All the parts can be bought at a local radioshack for about $12 (+-). The tutorial will explain how to put those parts together in order to make the rapid fire mod.

This is my man, oh wait you are my man, dude, this is great, very great.

Is it really that big to the point where I need to remove a rumble motor? Simple wires and a chip, with a switch will not take up all the inside of a handle. Non the less, I will install for my little bro on his controller, and see if its small enough for my DualShock.

Now one more question, is this just like other rapid fire kits where you push the button or tactile switch to turn rapid fire on then you use R1 to shoot or will the tactile switch or button be used to fire? This is the main question for me.

It all fits in about the handle of the SIXAXIS. I split it up into both handles for conveniance. It is a little more than just a chip and some wires.

It also does use a tactile switch that you can place wherever you like, just like other rapid fires.

So, is the tactile basically the on off switch and you still use R1 to shoot like other rapid fire?

This is my like final question. I cannot wait for this.

Mind sharing a parts list so I can get the parts when I am about?

There is an extra button added for shooting rapid, and the R1 works regularly. Unfortunatly I cant give a parts list until its released.

Some bad news... I was planning on releasing the tutorial today, but due to the controller breaking from unforeseen circumstances while the tutorial was being made, I'm going to have to push back the release date of the rapid fire until I get a new controller.

The controller broke unfortunately, it was a complete accident and had nothing to do with the rapid fire.

yeah im sorry,
i am totally against this, and so should qj, they dont promote cheating through PSN

yet theyre happy enough to help the cheats,
turbo while used regularly, and sold, is still cheating (and it just dawned on me about those wtf moments of G3 in cod4)

i only hope that PS fixes this maybe make a longer delay or something

and the people that i have now figured out where using rapid fire, just ruined the game totally, anyone know how to report people on PSN...........

Personally I'm better without the rapid fire, but some people prefer it. In the end, its just a game. If you wish to take it competitively (which I do, and I don't mind rapid fire because I need more of a challenge in CoD4) then either go to a tournament/official game or enjoy the challenge of fighting people with an unfair advantage.

I know how many of you feel, I've been killed also by rapid fire many times, and gotten angry many times, but also think of the people who get killed all the time and just can't play the game regularly.

that is the worse excuse ive ever heard, i dont care if you can buy 3RD PARTY controllers with rapid fire, its still cheating,

i can get steroids but im not allowed to use them in sport, same principal

i know people should have the right to beable to use controllers they want, but i feel sony should lock 3rd party controllers out of online (although it would be difficult), they however should atleast carry out some research to prevent turbo

people buy consoles to get away from cheats, we sacrifice customisability inorder to get away from cheats, dont on our consoles

anyway i think the moderation staff is quite a joke, in another topic, i was talking about recording data from psn, and then echoing it back, inorder to prevent cheats in clan matches, the game can be recorded and view, went into more detail
but because of the word cheat the topic was locked and i was labelled a cheat, i asked the mod to edit his message and he never did, it seems theyre locking the wrong topics and glorifying the wrong topics (front page news)

Just a couple of points for the people on here.

1) Many of you are comparing rapid fire to steroids. Your comparing sports that make millions apon millions of dollars to a $60 video game. People buy the game to enjoy it and some people should have that chance.

2) You guys are assuming I can't play the game without the rapid fire.

3) Keep in mind that I didn't invent rapid fire, I just came up with a more affordable, changeable, and accessible version.

4) If you want to criticize my work then please do it in a polite manner. I am not interested in taking you seriously if your willing to be rude on this forum.

P.S. I am not Russian. I was born and raised in the United States in New York, so please don't bring any form of prejudice into here.

theres so many things i could say, but lets keep it polite

anyway, steroids are banned as it gives an unfair advantage to other contestants rapid fire does the same

another thing ofcourse you can play, you can select your gametype cant you, its how well you play, anyway i dont care if you can play well, all i care about is your cheating me out of a good game that i too also paid ~£40 for, like i said im taking every measure possible to get away from cheats, so if you want to cheat play the pc

more affordable, changeable, and accessible version.

in other words your supplying it to the masses, by lowering its price, letting more cheat on, oh yes i must thank you
