I Have PS3 - 40GB (320 GB now) ..EU Version,form year 2008...
But i think this is FAKE,you posted nothing about this,so some proof or some more info?

Jagger I just acquired a 60GB BC (US NTSC) console, but I just found this board. I would be interested in testing for you, but can't PM right now... I have subscribed to thread though.

Am still here guys. I will not be releasing any information or posting videos on youtube. If you think this is fake thats fine. I am not asking you guys to do it give me anything. After further testing This exploit only works on the PAL UK 60GB, NTSC 60GB, 80GB and NTSC-J 60GB. I have my own group of testers at this time so thanks for the offers, I will let you guys know it i decide to beta test it.

Based on what the guy said this hack only works on a ps3 with the built-in memory card slots.

so only the ones that u can put a memory sticks in them? and after doing such hack what will we see being achieved? homebrew games? custom firmware ? what i don't know myself yet is what can be achieved if he manages to exploit all this? maybe play other system games on ps3

lol or some hack on this console that could exploit the ps3 to do literally anything we would want? not like everything how the commercial says i mean everything as in the stuff it really doesn't do... i mean even after he manages to exploit this either way we share it other than pm sony will hunt it down and make an update as usual that you have no choice to do...and maybe if we bypass they'll add the update on games o.O or something....

just a quick update, i have managed to get my code running. Am not gonna say to much just yet. Also it appears sony have patched this hole with the 3.10 update.

Is that just bad luck or was it something which Sony could've figured for themselves?
