I was jusst wondering. I dont know that much about the PS3 or about exploiting.
But I remember that there have been a lot of game exploiting on the psp by loading edited save files. I was wondering if there might be possible to do the same on the ps3?
I have a PS3 slim but I dont know any way to extract the saves to my computer...
Then I thought about how it is possible to use a computer as a mediaserver on the ps3.
Could it be possible to do the same thing with the "data transfer utility"
function in the new firmwares.
Like... fool the ps3 to think that the PC is another ps3 and then transfer its files to it?
I guess it would require a computer software that emulates needed functions of the ps3.
and I even dubt that it will work becaus you will need plug a lan cable between the ps3 and pc or mac.
but we have seen magic before havnt we?
Im jusst thinking out loud now and like I said before. I dont have much knowledge about the ps3.
But If we could exploit a game would we be able to use that exploit for something? Would we have any access at all? I think its time to do something about the ps3! It has way too much power to not be used for homebrews! :)
