Network update problem.
I`m trying to upgrade my ps3s firmware from 1.92 to 1.93. I download the update and when it gets to 4% it stops downloading and i get this error message an error occurred during the download opperation. A connection to the server cannot be established (80028E07). So i go to do a connection test on my ps3 and it detects the ip address and connects fine. Has anybody gotten this problem?

The update now downloaded fine.
I'm getting the same problem... anyone?
I had that problem the first time I tried. Then it worked the second time. Only know I can't exit out of anything. When I go to the XMB nothing works except the battery indicator. If I manage to get to the Shut Down System screen only the directional buttons work. This sucks.
Try downloading it on a PC, if you can.
I've read the following troubleshooting ideas on the playstation forums, they all had claims of working for some people and not working for others:
-After failing to update and getting the error, press O not X to go back and then try again. (this worked for me)
-Reset your display settings.
-Shutdown completely and turn the power off at the back. Disconnect your network cable if you use one. Reconnect, turn the power on at the back and hold the on button at the front down until it beeps twice. Try to update again.
I'd take any "troubleshooting" ideas you get from the official Sony forums with a heavy dose of salt.
These are the same people who said that the PSP could run EXEs and get viruses.
Now that the download is up on playstation.com, there's really no point bothering with it too much.
