For now I can get both a 60GB and 80GB PS3 refurbished at the same price ($50 more than a new 40GB).
I currently have one PS2 game, and no PS2 to play it on. It's FFX-2. It seems the 80GB won't play subtitles, while the 60GB does it with no problems. Is there any advantage in some other fashion (beyond storage, which is a minor issue as I can easily buy a larger HD to put into either one) that would make the 80GB preferable to the 60GB? No subtitles is something I can live with for FFX-2 and I can restrict future PS2 game purchase to games that'll run on the 80GB without a hitch.
