Half-Bricked? (Not YLOD)
So my PS3 has decided to not let me play again; When I first turned on my PS3 today it was working fine, games loaded, music played, etc; but now when i turn it on for the 2nd time today, The fans start, the lights (Both Blue and Green) turn on. Thought that the PS3 would load the xmb in a few like usual but thats where the problem started.
The display didn't show anything at all, nor did the sound start, so naturally I checked the cables to make sure that they were plugged in and such; everything seemed fine.
So I tried to do the hard reset (one beep) nothing displayed
Recovery Menu (2 Beeps) Nothing displayed
Another Thing that bothered me was that the card reader and usb keyboard were activating but the controller (even when i hooked it up to the usb cable) would blink all four lights (same for when it was plugged in but slower and for 2 seconds)
Disc would eject too.
I have a launch day 60 GB 3.0 PS3
What's The Problem?
Would be hard to say. Try unplugging the whole system and hooking it up to another tv if you can. Hard reset it with the beeps again and see what happens. If you get no luck, call Sony. Not much else to really say here.
