Well, the browser is great and you can play YouTube videos and all, but I do have a few things Sony should add in the next update.
1. There is no ability to zoom in, only enlarge text which isn't always helpful.
2. There is no way to create a new tab. The only way to open a new tab is through a link.
3. There should be a way to customize the view like on the PSP which organizes the webpage to fit to the screen. For now, when you go to most websites including YouTube, you have to scroll left and right to see the entire page.
4. When downloading something to the PS3, you can only download to the HardDrive if it is an associated media type. What do I mean by that? It only will download a video, picture, or music file because those are the only 3 types of media you can view via the PS3. What is cool is that Sony lets you choose the source. Meaning if you have a USB Flash Drive inserted, you can download anything to it. However, in the event that you want to download some other program (.exe for example) to transfer later on to a flash drive or something and you do not have any USB devices available to download to, you cannot because there is no section that the PS3 can associate it with. This can be easily fixed by an addition to the XMB menu for "Storage". That way any file that is not an image, music, or video file will be able to be downloaded to this section and be viewable. You cannot of course do anything with these files on the PS3 itself since it doesn't recognize them but it will be a useful feature when you want to copy them to another source (such as a memory stick). This can come in handy. Do you see what I mean?
Unless someone already knows how to do these which I may have overlooked?
