Alright, I've got it working on my laptop, but I think the version of python on my Ubuntu PS3 is making it unable to connect.
See a short video of it in action here:
Somebody running Gentoo on their PS3, please let me know if it works for you or not, you'll need to get the python2.5-bluez and/(or?) the python-bluez packages for it to work. If this works properly in gentoo, I might just have to remove ubuntu for this.
Just take the .txt off the file, and down at the bottom of the python script is where you input the address of your remote to enable it. ('hcitool scan' while holding the start and enter keys will give you your remote's address)
Please help me make this more useful, I mean a 50+ key remote (not including the multi-key combinations possible with the X, Square, Circle, Square, and R1-L3 Keys) is great for executing scripts and such, but I want this to work in MythTV, Freevo and to control the mouse in X.
