Default Word processor capability?

Hi

I'm condsidering the PS3 console over a Desktop and Laptop based upon what I believe is true. Many people have posted video links of the Linux Operating system actually running on the PS3.

My question is does this mean it has the capapbility to run a Word Processor application or is this included in the full installtion of Fedora Core 5/6 etc? I've seen a You Tube video showing the Linux bootup with TUX the Penguin and the guy reffering to a 'Word Processor'. If it does not include a Word Processor how hard would it be to install one onto the PS3 and would it be free?

Finally I know the PS3 was definately not designed to be used in this way, but I definately want a PS3, but also need a new PC for school related work. If I could do work on the PS3 like a regular computer, I would consider a win win situation- . I cannot afford both really!

Thanks please reply.

Default

Most distros will include OpenOffice.org, a full office suite for free. Plus, you'll have Mozilla Firefox (browser), a chat app like Gaim or Kopete to manage all the networks (MSN, Yahoo, ...). If you need anything else, it will be possible to install it after Linux has been installed.
