okay i am on a standard 480i resoulution TV. when i load linux it promts me with a kboot(i havent installed it yet). i go to installtext. then it says mounting. then it goes back to the kboot. then it goes back to mounting. and repeats the process. what am i doing wrong?

Well if you cant do it until then type:
boot-game-os
to get out of it until its answerd

before the kboot line i see: file, failed (something like that)

how do you know if you have a invailed (or messed up) CD.
