I've just installed KDE and inserted a DVD. It appeared on the Storage, I ejected it and inserted another disc. It thinks that the first is still inside.
I right clicked and choosed Umount but still the same!!

What can I do to access the new disc (besides logging out

?

BTW how can I put applications I install (mplayer, VLC) on the desktop / menus?

i'm not sure why it does that, but in the console type

eject /dev/sr0

and then after you eject and insert a new disk type

mount /dev/sr0

you may need to refresh Konqueror

to put things in the desktop you can right click on it and create a Link, or go to the KDE menu and look at the Multimedia applications, right click on them and there should be a "send to desktop" kinda thing
