Ok so I used the QJ.NET install GENTOO with 4 TARBELLs

I have a working GENTOO

are these instructions for 32bit or 64bit arch?

what would I need to do to make sure its 64bit

THE FAQ says the PPC is 64bit

It's running a 32bit userland, so everything pre-installed is 32bit.

Do you mean that the gentoo installation instructions are for a 32bit userland?

Or that the PS3 is 32bit ARC?

If PS3 is 64bit... how would you go about configuring GENTOO for 64bit.... and would there be a substantial benefit from doing so?

The PS3 is 64bit.. 32bit and 64bit PPC binaries both work.
