This is my first day of learning to make shell scripts in linux, im all new to linux so it`s hard for me to understand everything. I have no hard skills in programming at all and I don`t want to say I can make A ps3 backup loader in linux...

But there is one thing I do know... When you know the ppc language and know how linux starts up from the ps3 from every folder, and knows what the ps3 says to the blueray disk then you can edit the command line in A linux shell script with all the necesary files and load commands that`s needed to run A backup from linux.


maybe its stupid but it`s just an idea.

Backups are not loaded from Linux. And there is no ISO loader. kthxbai.

you cant say there is a loader or if there isnt. not enough evidence to support either case

but i think hes talking about backups on actual blu rays and not an iso loader. either way linux is blocked from pretty much most of the ps3 system so you cant do this, and the hdd file system doesnt allow files over 4gb (99% of ps3 games are larger than 4gb)

Since when? ext2 and ext3 both support a single file of a size upto 2TiB, close to 2 TB.
