Default Say what ???

I was wondering why when i hit default os on my ps3 why it still goes to the linux kboot: screen without a disc or memory stick in how do i erase this off my PS3 ?

Not sure if a full reformat is needed?, If you are asking how it boots into linux without the flash or cd in the drive, the answer is because the kboot is stored in the etc folder,

The ps3 looks in 4 places for a boot file. (not sure of order)
1) etc
2) BD drive
3) flash
4) external drive

Hold down the refresh button for about 5 seconds till you hear some beeps to reset the boot back to ps3

Aaah i get what your saying here but its a little fuzzy care to go in a little deeper.

okay now i have found time im gona run it

It didnt work when i hit otheros i still get kboot is that normal
