I bought a keyboard and mouse but whenever i hook up the keyboard a get a scrolling error so im guessing its incompatible. Could someone please tell me a working type thanks.

generic keyboard on ebay for 3.99 free shipping LOL, unless you are planning on using your PS3 for your actual computer just get something cheap.

i stole my brother usb to ps/2 converter and plugged in an old vaio mouse and some ghetto 9 year old keyboard i found in the garage. they work well.
